Fosse Park Shopping Centre

PHP Building Services were awarded this project following an in-depth competitive tendering process undertaken by the main site contractor, Bowmer and Kirkland. Following the award of the contract, a 6 month detailed design exercise was also completed.

Scope of works

The project involved the completion of a new management suite to enable the demolition of existing buildings to allow for the new development of Food Central. Running parallel to this scheme we also undertook the electrical works associated with the new Fosse Park West development. 

Contract management and resource

The project was overseen by Peter Bales, supported by an experienced site-based project manager and two SSSTS supervisors to manage the day to day site operations.

Our team on site reached a peak of 45 engineers (including sub-contractor staff) during the project.

Subcontractors and supply chain

We utilised our site operatives and subcontractors who were based within a 30 mile radius of the site contributing to the social value being driven by the contractor.
